I am filled with gratitude to welcome you all in our college, named after
great Indian Nobel laureate Ravindranath Tagore. We consciously chose the
name of the institute after him as we want our students to follow his vision
of life and education. We want you to have great aspiration without that one
can not reach heights for which one is destined to. I would urge you to think and aspire.
We promise to provide you with the best of platforms so that you can excel in your skills
and present it to the world stage. I would also like to use this space to share the wisdom
I have earned while running an Institute of this stature. I have learnt that learning becomes
stagnant if it is not shared among peer groups. I would like to promote co-learning instead of
just learning. For co-learning promote community building, Trust & Fraternity amongst each

RNT college of Agriculture is a constitute college of RNT Group of Colleges at
Kapasan Distt. Chittorgarh, Rajasthan was established in the year 2014. It is
affiliated with Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology Udaipur,
Rajasthan (MPUAT, Udaipur). This college is also accredited from Indian council of
Agriculture, Research, Pusa, New Delhi (ICAR, New Delhi) for five year from 10™
July 2024 wide notification F. No. 1/39/2023 — EQR / Edn — Accere.
Agriculture and allied sectors are critical in terms of employment and livelihoods
for the farmers who dominate Agriculture ecosystem in India. In this context
Agriculture education creates many avenues for employment both in public and
private sectors. It offers excellent opportunities for the agriculture graduates
keeping in view the evergreen field with respect to scope. The college has
conducive teaching, learning environment with state of arts infrastructure and
facilities for imparting quality education since inception by focusing on making
our student a good human being and successful professionals in various fields of
agricultural sciences and to generate and disseminate knowledge to meet the
demand of farmers and stakeholders for sustainable agriculture
The faculty has gone through a continuous and series of transformation and
curriculum revision in accordance with ICAR 6" Deans’ committee
recommendations. A programme on student READY (Rural Entrepreneurship
Awareness and Development Yojana) has been implemented from the academic
session 2016 — 17 by ICAR, New Delhi. Further, for all round development of
student, extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, Physical education and yoga
practices have been included as a part of syllabus.
The College has well equipped required number of class rooms and laboratories,
Digital library, agricultural museum, instructional farm, experiential learning units,
hostels, sports & game facilities both for boys and girls. The location of college is
very convenient with respect to facilities of buses, trains as well as flights. Within
a very short span of time college has established a number of achievements in
terms of academics, employment, job providers and taking admission by students
in higher institutes.
